JJoin the GripStarz team for Event #6 of the Grassroots Series on October 1st. This event kicks off the inaugural Pink Out The State Tour! More information on the tour will be posted later. Event #5 was one for the books as the top 10 rankings got all kinds of shifted. Come on out and get a feel for the track and see how you stack up with the other drivers. First time out? Well we have a plethora of experienced drivers that are always super helpful. Come on out and enjoy tons of seat time, cool merch, and an all around great vibe. Drivers fee is $125 for all day access to the track. Spectators fee is $10. Sign up link will be added here when it is available. Try to pre-register if you can, it'll cut down your wait time if ya do. If you've been to these events you already know the event format but for my new folks let me break it down for ya.
1. Gates open at 8am
2. Tech begins at 8:30am
3. As you pass tech, you can walk in and sign in.
4. Drivers meeting at 9:45am
5. Track goes hot at 10:00am
6. Track action stops at 1pm for the Hottest Lap Hour.
7. Hotlaps should be done by 2pm and track will go hot again.
8. The flyer shows the event ending at 6pm but we have been known to run the event til 7 since the sun is usually still out.
Come see Amanda Phillips at the merch table for your chance to sign the Pink Out The State Banner. Banner will be donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation of Alabama so if you're interested come support the cause!
