Announcement time! Join us for an epic weekend of track fun for an affordable price. The Gripstarz team will be collaborating with Talladega GP Raceway and Midpond Raceway for the second annual Two Track Classic! On July 11th, we will be heading out to TGPR for day one of this awesome event. Then on Sunday, July 12th, we will be back home at Midpond Raceway. Both days will be treated as normal open format days so if you want to do either track but not both then you absolutely can. If you do decide to do both it automatically puts you into our two day competition like last year. The time attack classes will be divided up by tire treadwear again so that should make for some pretty close action. Points will work the same as last year. On Sunday, we will take the total points of both days and determine the winners of each class. So you know what that means....TROPHIES! The driver cost for Sunday at Midpond will be $170 and this DOES include transponders. Tracks will open at 7am. Tech starts as soon as the first car gets settled. Drivers meeting will be at 9am and the track will go hot shortly afterwards. Our hotlap comp will start at 1pm. After hotlaps are done, the remainder of the event will return to open format. For my Grassroots Series guys, this event will be for bonus points in the year long series so come on out! We look forward to seeing everyone.
